Lampe en bois et verre opalin

Vintage mid century round turned wood & brass lamp with art glass shade. The base is round in turned wood and brass. From the base comes a column with a brass goose neck arm which leads to the brass shade holder. The shade is in white opaque glass with a frilled edge and hand painted in shades of beige, yellow and blue. The flex is gold with a on/off button and a 2 pin european plug. The lamp takes 1 small screw in bulb e14. Us and canadian buyers are able to find adapters to use this lamp with their e12 bulbs (without the need to change the bulb holders). Please search on line 'e14 to e12' adapter. The base is complete with some age related marks and lovely patina. The shade is in good condition with no cracks however there are some small chips around the fitter which cannot be seen when the shade is in place. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
